My heater core is leaking and my heater needs to be rebuilt. I have no clue how to remove the heater. I have looked on the internet/U Tube and this forum and have not found anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My heater box had been removed YEARS ago,but you need to drop the whole box out.

Helped a friend remove his heater box out of his 69 super bee. It was a pain. The whole box has to come out to change the heater core. after you remove the core hoses there should be two or more bolts holding the box in place that you can you can access through the firewall. after you take those off it should be loose. Then your going to have to remove vent/heater cables. Should have one electrical lead to heater motor. His was a tight fit so you kinda have to fish it out. Its a two person job to pull one.
