Hello from Korea

Fla 66 Cuda- Thanks. I am actually stationed at Osan AB. Small World. I am sure a lot has changed your time here.

I'm sure it has we spent a lot of time in the bars down town back then, now that i look back i should have done something more constructive with my free time,i did do a lot of bike riding bought a 10 speed and every weekend take off early in the am in one direction till noon then turn around an come back. Thanks again for your service and you have a nice car to come home to it'll probly take surgury to remove the smile your gonna have when you drive it!!

I guess a lot of stuff changes, but pretty much stays the same. I spend a lot of time in Songtan also, playing darts in a league. My means of transportation here is also a bike. And you are absolutely correct. That smile will not leave my face while I am driving her around. I could listen to the rumble of that 440 all day long. Thanks.

Hey Plumcrazy I was in Korea back in '06. You got the better of the two they had me down in Kunsan. I actually miss that place a little bit, the comraderie there is unlike any other base you'll go to. Plus I miss the Soju, bulgogi, and Yaki! Nice car BTW.

Welcome to the site and congrats on the car! i did some time down in Pohang so I know you're ready to get home. :)

What's ALTUS? Where in Korea? I spent a year in Seoul. Look fwd to seeing more pics, and the car's story here!

Eagleone- Thanks. I definitely agree, Osan is the better of those two. A lot more to do here. The Soju and food here is definitely good. Although the Soju can get you into a little bit of trouble sometimes. haha
Donny- Altus is in Oklahoma. I am over at Osan AB in Korea. I am hoping to be getting some more pics up this week sometime. Just waiting on them to get emailed to me.

Soju got me in trouble once and i get plenty of Korean food [bulgogi, kimshee] my wife is korean. I played darts there also at a little place called Skinny Mom's Club a little rock n roll bar in songtan most of the places are probly gone or changed names. When i was there there were 62 clubs in Songtan i visited all of them once at least, my favorites were Skinny Mom's,Rock n Roll Up,Hill Top Club.Favorite resturants were Mamma's and Family.Happy New Year to ya.
