hello

i just moved to northbrook, il from austria, europe. (austria = schwarzenegger, not kangaroo!)

before moving here i sold my 69 fury vip (383 4bbl) wich is a very rare sight back home. no boats on those small streets :icon_winkle:

before that i had a '89 dodge ram van with custom bbq-grill installed behind the tailgates. should have been a factory option! the old picture shows me on the right on top of mount arlberg preparing a snack

my next car is probably gonna be a 70 coronet or superbee. can't beat that look.

since i don't have a car now, and some freetime, i would love to help someone in the area with his project. any help needed?

so long

Welcome to the site Mark. I used to live in Vienna between 1962 and 1967, military brat. Love to get back there again for a couple of weeks. Its on my bucket list !! LOL. Now get busy a find your Mopar !!

Welcome to FBBO from Northern California, nice VIP Fury

thanx for the kind welcome!

the blue gas bottle would have been a great idea :)

vienna is a very cool city. i am from way west, 10 minutes to switzerland and 15 to germany

Welcome Mark! You should look into joining the Chicagoland Mopar Connection club (http://www.chicagolandmopar.com) to start meeting new members, going to shows, etc. Since you're in northern IL, try and make the www.mcacn.com show this weekend...lots of high end cars of all brands, including rare Mopars will be on display there.

(austria = schwarzenegger, not kangaroo!)

It is a shame you're not closer to Delawere! With that kind of humor you and I would get along real nice! Well, that and I need someone to follow behind me and correct all of my mistakes! lol.

well, if you supply the cigars, i'd would try to work more of my accent in on the "hasta la vista, baby"

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Love the Fury, great color! Did your profession bring you to the U.S.?

Done! Cigars as currency I can do! lol:headbang:

No, being an architect is not the most suiting profession to migrate to the us at the given economy.
I met a great girl and decided to be with her :)

Now it is to find a career that suits me

welcome, nothing better than a roadside carBque.

Welcome to the USA, love that VIP!

Please be sure to check out the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show in November, which is pretty close to you in Rosemont. www.mcacn.com

The Chicagoland Mopar Connection is also a great group to join to meet like minded Mopar freaks. They are having a swap meet in a few weeks in Elmhurst that I am sure you would enjoy. If you make it there, look me up, I'll be in the MCACN booth. www.chicagolandmopar.com
