Hello FBBO-guys!
My Name is Andreas and I'm writing you from Austria.
The 1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite wagon you can see in the pictures below is my new old car and definitely a keeper. I bought it sight unseen via ebaymotors.com in March 2018 and shipped it to Europe. Since then I just looked over the mechanical parts (did the brakes, carburretor, bushings, ...), did a little bit of welding (left rear quarter-panel) and gave it a proper clean up (replaced the carpet and the windshield, polished the trim). By far the most work was involved to get it road-legal here in Austria. To get this permission ment replacing all the front-lights with euro-spec ones, make the turn signals look as amber as possible, provide all the original paperwork (great that the old lady, who owned it before kept all of that! I even got the bill of sale and the build sheets!), ...
Next on my list is changing the windshield rubber (just in case you know a good adress for a good value item- let me know!) and replacing the woodgrain inside and out.
Right now (just a year after I bought it) it's awaiting its first Austrian number-plates which are due to arrive next week! I'm really looking forward to cruise in it throughout 2019!
Greetings from the Alps _ Andreas
