I currently have a 73 charger that I am working on. I had a 72 when I was sixteen and was the only one around in this sea of classic chevy cars I grew up in. I am now 38 and found my way back to chargers. I came home from the hospital after being born in a 73 barracuda that was a factory nightmare of wrong badges. this car came from factory with dodge, plymouth, challenger, cuda, and barracuda badges. I can remember my mom & dad always joking about how the car ever got past Qc that way. classic mopar goof up I noticed when I learned to read. Anyway I guess thats where it all started for me with this mopar thing.

Welcome - sounds like the guys at the factory had a great time going through the emblem box that day!

:hatwave: :sSig_hihihi: :sSig_welcometoourcl :worthless_thread: we love car **** so lets see some car **** :headbang:

Cool! My X father in law had a Volare Aspen....I wonder if that Barracuda was built on the night shift lol

welcome to FBBO

Thanks for all the greetings, And yes Just south of florence. Been hooked on 71 -74 B body since I owned the 72. was looking for another for years but they are rare here or so it seems and when you do find one its rough. the 73 I have now must have been a southern car. look forward to hearing more from all of you.

And thanks again.

I will add some pics when I get a chance. I have owned this charger almost two years and never taken a pic. Work plus 6 kids living with me hurts the garage time. I did manage to find a rough 73 340 car for $500 and scored front and rear sways, rally dash, powerbulge hood, roll down 1/4 windows, you know all the goodies. stripped it of everything & parted out what I didnt & want so far made $1,900. I still have most of the parts if anyone needs something like a whole non ac climate control system just ask, I may have it.

Hey Welcome neighbor. I live in the area Between Union and Florence. We probably live within spitting distance. You don't happen to be the guy that works at Advanced Auto who was telling me about his Charger are ya? Ever seen this running around town?

If you haven't seen it I guarantee you have heard it.

yes, that car is hard to miss even at a distance. I lived on long branch for a while but moved back home near thorn hill. No not the same guy but I have talked with him also. I got a sky blue grocery getter at the moment upgraded with chin & wing spoiler, bulge hood, roll down 1/4 windows, rally wheels, front and rear bumpers relocated to pre 73 location and more.
