Well not Detroit per-say I'm from Detroit living in Livonia, I got into wrenching to keep myself outta trouble a tired body with no time can't really get into trouble. My first project was a Head cam swap on a LS-1 in a '02 Z28, also dropped the trans so it could be sent out for a rebuild and reinstalled it all while the car was on jack stands. The entire project was done with hand tools and in engine bay. I think we busted out pneumatics three times. I did the majority of the wrenching myself even though it wasn't my car. The Beast puts 515hp to the tires now. I realized that modern cars have too many electronics too cluttered of engine bays, and I really don't like the lines on the 80's 90's and most of the 00' with the exception of new millennia mopar. So I decided I needed a project of my own. Now I will say Chevy had a few nice muscle cars back in the day, but I love mopar muscle Plymouths late 60's early 70's was amazing as was Dodge. I found myself a nice '74 charger with a 318. It's got a flat tapped cam in ill repair so I figured an engine overhaul was in order the top at least as the bottom is solid. I plan on a new cam, double roller timing chain, dual pane intake, 4brl carb rated below 600, nice air filter, new headers, dual exhaust, as for the heads I was thinking of just upgrading the valves, maybe going with closed chamber heads if I have an open castings, this I'm not sure on as I haven't been able to find a definitive casting number on which is which. I guess I won't know till I start the tear down(november 1 starts the tear down). I'm looking for this to be street-able but I also want power, I'm thinking this is the best of both worlds...

As For me, myself and I. I am an EMT-Basic I run back up rescue for Farmington hills and Detroit. My unofficial goal is to cover myself in tattoos, to which I am well on my way, with a right sleeve, chest piece, lower abdomen piece, right side, upper back, left palm, tops of both feet and a few stragglers on a calf and left arm. I keep fresh water fish. South American cichlids, and african cat fish. I am a die hard Apple user when it comes to electronics, I am a nerd to the point that I can work on a unix command line. I do a fair amount of small electronic repair. I collect Transformers, and am severely disappointed that in 25 years they have put out sports and muscle cars from Ford and GM but not mopar or at least to my knowledge, well muscle at least they did a viper. I have a pit bull named Kismet she is a sweet heart and would never hurt a soul, I am vehemently against dog fight (hate the deed not the Breed).

It's really rather Ironic that at 26 and a heavy computer user you would think that I would be better at keeping up with forums but for some reason work and play get in the way so I will apologize now if my participation slips from time to time. I will try and keep up and remain active and will well document my engine work. mainly in pictorial form...
