Back in '02 or '03 a guy was working on a big coffee table musclecar book. It was published and I've seen it, but don't remember the name.

Why am I looking for it? My (ex) 440 Six Pack Challenger R/T is in it, and I don't have a copy.

Any chance anyone has this book with this car in it?

(I don't remember which hood I had on it at the time)

Check out this website, left hand side down the bottom has 60 books in the inventory. If you find it there it may trigger your memory on what the book was called and make it easier to track down. If it is there and you can't locate it anywhere closer, I'm happy to buy on your behalf for you and ship it over, or I could bring it with me when I come to the US next month and post it from there to save you some bucks.

Thanks for the tip, AC. There are some interesting books there. The one that my car is in covers all brands, not just MOPARS.

The book is called muscle cars. The one I have was printed in 2004. The web site is thunderbaybooks.com Yes the car is in this issue on page 360 and 361. The hood on the car in the book is the 6 pak hood.

oops....a search at thunderbaybooks.com turns up nothing.

Who is the author?

Try gemm.com to find the book

I typed in Muscle Cars without an author and it listed a few there. Some have pictures of the cover

Don't remember what was on the cover. All I remember is it was wider than it was tall

Tem,
I believe I have a more current edition of this book showing a copyright of 2007 by Regency House Publishing and the author is Jim Glastonbury.

A near same picture that you show above of the interior as well as a 3/4 passenger side shot, a front view, and an engine bay picture (no six pack decal on the air cleaner) appear on pages 160 & 161.

If you can't find it still in print let me know, mine is in perfect condition and I would sell it to you if you can't find one.

Thanks Darryl. That name (hopefully) will be all I need to find it.

Shorty, that is actually a Goodmark repop ralley hood and inserts. It required no work to fit properly. Just sand and paint.

copyright is Salamander books ltd.,2004 The front cover says Peter Henshaw at the bottom right. The front cover has a 70's GTO Judge. Hope this helps
Found the address of the company, It is 5880 Oberlin Drive, San Diego, CA. 92121-4794

Wow. Sounds like it's in more than one book, one with a yellow 70 Challenger on the cover, another with a JUDGE, and I'm thinking possibly the original had a red early GTO.

Are either of these books (the one with the Challenger and the Judge) wider than they are tall? The original book it was in was "landscape" rather than "letter"
