No, it's not a hard fix. I had to do the same thing with my 70 RR...All I did was remove the drum (sometimes the hardest part of the job!), and put your new lug in from behind. Tighten the lug nut on it to pull/press the lug into into position. Tighten nut just enough so the lug is in place, then put on the wheel and tighten all the lug nuts...That's what I did.
