Hi everyone. I honestly can’t remember if this is my first post or not. My question is this. I have been looking for a direct ignition kit for my 68 Roadrunner. I have seen what I need but unfortunately I could only find Ford and Chevy kits. Has anyone had any experience using a universal kit. Basically I’m wonting to go to coil near plug and replace the distributor with sending unit. Any information would ge great. Thank you.

P.S. the picture is what I have been looking for. This one is for Chevy I believe. If anyone knows something, I bet this is the place to find him or her. Thank you again

I think the only way you could do it would be to buy the Chev kit & modify a Mopar dist to take the 'guts' out the Chev dist.

Look into a MSD 6 LS box. They use them on LS chevy engines to power the coils. Its what is used when you want to stick an LS into anything that never had an LS. They make a similar box for modern Hemis too. You would have to have a few things a crank trigger, Cam position sensor and a map sensor.

An LS has a different firing order... don't forget
