Lookin' good. It can even end up in one of these. A 1955 Chris Craft Capri. The guy that painted my orange RR started working on this about the same time.

You engine above is looking good RRR. Those Chris Craft boats are so sweet looking even though I've never been a water craft guy, I've always that they were super cool when I've seen them in movies.

Meeps looks like the Cal/Nev State Line, Tahoe Concourse Regatta, haven't been there in years, that's cool Vintage Hemi Powered Chris Craft Capri... Rusty good luck with you sale of the Hemi, sad to see, you have to sell...

I don't have to yet, but I think it's comin. I'm gonna hold out long as I can. If somebody would buy my 318, I could keep the Hemi.

Got the heads and rocker train bolted on and torqued down so I had to sit the intake and valve covers on for some pics.

IM001596.JPGLooking good RRR. I like the first gen hemis they look good in hotrods. I have a 392 in my 40 ford and it sure gets the tires smoking. Good luck with yours.

Yup. All the early Hemis are capable of power well beyond their cubic inch size. This one is a 1956 331 that came out of a D500 dump truck. For whatever reason, Dodge used the Chrysler Hemis in the bigger trucks, even though Dodge did make the Red Ram Hemis all the way to 325 cubes. Go figure. This one.....if I don't end up having to sell it, is going in my 49 Dodge 5 window rat rod truck......and Leanna, that's regular old Chrysler blue.

I had a good thing happen today. I won't go into it, but the Hemi is one step closer to me bein able to keep it.

black64, that's awesome lookin. Post some pics of the car?

motors lookn real nice rusty,i sure do hope you get to put it in that truck.good luck!

Thanks for the kind words....I'll put it like this. SUMFFIN is goin in the truck. lol The truck's gettin built one way or the other. It's all part of my master plan.

Maybe it's my monitor settings or something but it looks more like [dare I type it??] Old Ford Blue to me. Whatever you're doing, it works. :D

lookin' good Rob. hope you can get the 318 sold so you can keep this bad boy.
