Where do you measure how much a Hemi head has been shaved?

Look look in the middle of head on exhaust side there's a square on the edge that's what I eyeball. .020/.025 on the heads you posted, that my best guess. Hope comes up with a better answer .
Edit another website said head should be 3.675 thick I ***-U-ME from valve surface chamber sidexof head.

I`d c c the comb. chamber , should be 168 cc`s , you could figure it out from there ...

168 was the NHRA spec, and that would be shaved for sure. They typically had a larger cc above 171 stock street. That notch is only a guesstimate. I have a pair pushed to the 168limit. One reads .042, the other .058. Shaving .004 is 1cc.

My 1968 roadrunner engine had exactly 168 cc , from the factory !!! Also had 205-210 pounds of compression on all cyls. "from the factory ,"
