RC Charger

But..... There is no documentation that a ******** has ever sat in it, let alone driven it !

$139k large too

I like RC's better anyway

It is a car, it is meant to be driven is it not.
screw the purists

THIS CAR WAS TREATED TO A DOCUMENTED FULL FRAME OFF ROTISSERIE RESTORATION :rolling::rolling::rolling:

More Chebby guys advertising MoPar's for sale.

Not a bad looking car at first glance, but there is soooo much wrong with that car. If you are going to ask the big bucks, one should not be able to nitpick. Just quickly looking through the pictures you can see....

Wrong shifter lever, not painted on the sides of the radiator, painted wiper motor, painted heater box attaching nuts, door panels with no map pockets, wrong grain on vinyl roof, unpainted door attaching bolts, air cleaner on backwards, no PCV valve, defroster hose hanging down, engine wiring wrong, no vacuum headlight hoses (how do they open????), washer hose routed wrong, wrong RH valve cover, wrong distributor and cap, no resonators, exhaust hangers next to the gas tank???, wrong master cylinder, painted hood latch, no public law decal in driver's door, not original color, etc, etc, etc.

Inspected by David Wise...whoever he is. He'd have been better off having Richard Cranium inspect it! But if I can pick that much apart in pictures, one can only imagine what one will find in person.

Well spotted on those items...I saw a few things, but not that many. :headbang:

Just wondering, was that steering wheel available in 1968? I thought it was 1970 onwards. :thinker:

At least the seller isn't claiming the car has some ridiculously low original miles like most of them do these days.

Based on that I think I'll offer $25K.

It really is interesting to watch the educated eye critique a restored car. I only noticed a few of those things, and wasn't absolutely sure of those. Quite informative. Thanks RC !

There is a big difference between rebuilding a car and restoring a car and everyone's version of "restored" is different. It's easy to critique someone else's car, but it's a pet peeve of mine to see cars with so much that is incorrect being touted as restored.

For a premium price, car should be done to a premium level.Which explains why my RR was $8500,not 25-30k.

I'm still fixing the "restored" car I bought a few years ago.
