Just signed up.... as Im in the process of buying my 1st b-body.... Its a odd car... 67 Plymouth belvidere, big block and a 4-sp... and a 4-door.....with 18K on the odo.... Ive been a member of for a-bodys for a while.... Heres the 411 on the car im looking at buying... story goes, this guy was a assy worker at the Belvidere, IL assy plant in 67, helped biult the car, and bought it...and in the early 70's converted it from a 273 small block/auto to a big block, and a 4-sp... using parts from the assy plant....for the 4-sp... Here some pics of the car...its very dirty...as Im sure its been sitting for a long time... from the old skool parts on it......

give me a few and I will toss up some pics....

Welcome. 4 speed 4 doors are odd creatures for sure, much like the few 4 speed wagons built. Love to have a B or an F body wagon that was a factory 4 speed:grin:

well i passed on the car... pics and what they told me about the rust free, drivable car, is not what I expected.....

Dont get me wrong... but they advetised this car as a 440, 4-sp, 18K on the car... I asked them if its a good driver... they told me Ohh ya its a great driving car.....Told them im not looking for a project, just a driver....they say yep its ready to drive....

First of, they advertised it as a 440.... Im sure from the engine pics, you all can see its not a 440... I knew this but still wanting to check it out... Its turns out to be a... from the ID pad... C 383 HP

As for the rust free.... ya its very nice on the body...but under that car... ya its rust city.... and as for a driver... noop its a project.. clutch pedal was way low..lower than the brake pedal and the shifter was way loose....Im not kiding... 1st to 2nd throw was about 2-3 feet...... very old skool car, Im sure it was great in its day...just geussing atleast 10-15 years, since its been a driver... Inside and trunk reeked of mice piss... they wanted 5K.... I passed on it...

Just an FYI...

Im not the smartist kid on the block about B-bodys...Im really not a kid... Im 35, and have been around mopar muscle cars for all my life.....I have picked up a thing or 4 about the ID #'s... And know what a driver car is....and what a project car is....

Lil more about my stuff and what Ive been around... go to youtube, and search my user name.... good stuff....
