Well detmatt1, I lost a 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T that was in the family since Dec. 1969. Just after my return from Viet Nam. My son was get it ready for Mopars at Maple Groove in June. Just changed out the plugs and started up. He heard a loud bang and flames came out under the fiberglass hood. Well it was to late. The hood caught fire and there was a leak in the gas line we know nothing about that also got things going. Then the right front tire caught and then the right rear slick. By then it was a carbeque. No one hurt. My grandson loves to be around the car when we start it. But he was in the house at the time. BUMMER no insurance.

Thanks Roadrunnerman, I am trying to get the parts on this site to rebuild it. Need right front fender and right door complete. The quarter panel will replaced locally for $1500.00 plus the quarter panel factory replacement. Just wondering is this price about right for labor only replacing the quarter in primer. And a nice complete dash if I can find one, mine had the 150mph speedo none rally. Had some hits on fenders but am waiting on them to get back. ANY HELP

Sorry about the car but you can get it back better than it was. If you was closer I would put your quater panel a lot cheaper than that. You can get nearly everything you need for it from AMD now and they are good parts. Good Luck with it Ronnie

okiemopar, how much do you think it should cost to put on a quarter panel? and AMD doesn't have fenders yet for a coronet just RR so far. thanks for your incouragment. i do hope to get it back together.

I don't know what is the going labor rate is where your at. I do all mine myself but I had 1 car that needed both rear quaters replaced and got it priced at 750 for both of them on the labor. I know I just replaced 2 quaters,trunk pan and the finish panel on one and it wasn't that big of a job. Maybe you'll find some one to do it cheaper and do a good job. Ronnie in Okla.

okiemopar, I quess I'll start shopping around for a few more quotes on labor cost. And hope to find someone I can trust also. Have to do some research and here. Thanks
