Just traded my 2000 Trans Am for a B-body. I have never owned a Mopar before so I am really a newbie at this. I look forward to gaining some valuable information from the forum. My new is a 1968 Coronet 440 2 dr HT cloned to look like a Super Bee, but I know it is not the correct hood. I think the hood is off of a 69 Bee, but I am not sure.

Welcome aboard. What part of Virginia do you live in? There is a all mopar show in Manassas June 18th at manassas chrysler. Bringing my Superbird. Also post some pictures please

Pictures are in my profile picture album. I live in the Hampton roads area. Mannassas may be a little far but not out of the question.

Welcome Dan. Nice looking 68'. As far as your hood, the 68' and 69' hoods are identical besides the lip that extends about an inch down in the front of a 69' hood. This piece is attached with a handful of screws. You could check to see if there is some screw holes under the leading edge lip. If so, 69 hood with the extension piece missing/removed. If not, 68' hood

Welcome to the Forum Dan.. Sweet looking car you started with, enjoy!!

Thats pretty funny. I see NJ "QQ" plates on there.

I just picked up a car from SC and drove it all the way back to NJ.

One from the South to the North and one from the North to the South....

Yep bought the car in NJ and towed it to VA. You and I should talk next time we decide to haul cars around:headbang:

Nice Clone there Dan, welcome to the FBBO forum...
