Just registered to this forum. I live in Northern BC Canada. I have bought my first B body. A 65 Coronet hardtop. It is a rust free California car which i am doing a resto/street rod treatment. It is being blasted and painted as we speak. It will be painted Mopar Radiant Fire Red, satin black hood with A990 scoop. It has a 68 HP 440 and 727 torquflite. I am having a blast working on it. It will be a driver as we live a ways from most car shows. I also have a 1928 Essex rumble seat coupe that is fully hot rodded with mopar 340 small block. It is loud, fast and a real hot rod but I need something with a back seat to pack some more people around and it could not be anything but mopar. I have always liked the 65 Coronet and here in Canada the 65 Coronet 500 is quite a rare car to see. I like being different. Looking forward to meeting some like minded people who are into 60s mopars.
cheers
Steve

Cool pic of the Demo car ! ...... I built one of those once,.....It was a Doo Doo Brown, 1969 Chrysler Newport with a 440 TNT engine, .......I painted it Plum Crazy then I killed all the competition with it, and won the event !....I was able to drive it out of the arena and back on to the trailer after the event was over,...........That was one TOUGH *** CAR !!!!!!!!!

welcome aboard i also have a 65 coronet 500 rare to see yours still has its trunk medallion intact that will save you some bucks.
