Did I drill holes in my trunk lid for super bee emblem in wrong spot .My bee will be over backup light and reverse light but I can't get to one nut whats up ????????????
Without a pic it's hard to tell but I assume the bracing is in the way so you can't reach it... use some emblem adhesive and the one nut you can reach and it shouldn't go any where once the adhesive sets up
The adhesive is for added insurance... it also keeps dirt from getting under it... often one pin will break off or the clip/ nut will loosen up with vibrations.... nothing ever went on with out a gasket made of rubber or plastic.... like on mirrors or door locks the adhesive will keep anything from getting under the emblem like someone who likes to collect emblems when you leave the car unattended for more than 5 min.
Go to a local body shop and ask for a little bit of what's known as "Dum Dum". use that around both posts and inside the cap of the self tapper you can reach. Mine's on there good enough with the one self tapper.
