hood/ fender turn signals

My 71 gtx is an early build gtx for the year as my cowl screen does not have tabs just screw done. Anyway my turn signals are mounted on the hood closer to the windshied and just let's say inside the callouts. I have seen some describe them as just fender turn signals and it seems more cars came with them on the fenders rather than the hood like mine. I have taken them off my original hood and the rr hood replacement hood has no holes there so to be correct I would have to drill it. Anyways thanks for the help

Screws only for the cowl screens for 71.
RR hood had the turn signals on the hood. Flat and air grabber hoods they are on the fenders.
