just installed a Hop Not kit on our 2010 Challenger RT and thought I would offer some thoughts for those of you with manual transmission late model Mopars. As you know, wheel hop is a real problem on launch and this kit is designed to eliminate the problem.

It took about 6 hours to install and was very easy. The time consuming part was removing rubber from the front and rear cradle mounts. They are difficult to access because of the center hub where the bolt goes to mount the spacer. Razer blades only work in certain areas and what I found to be most effective is a Dremel tool. Get a good set of de-burring tools and small brush wheels to remove the rubber and clean out the area to seat the spacers. If there was a more effective way to remove the rubber you could easily knock 2-3 hours off the installation time. Also, plan on wearing a good pair of safety glasses because you end up covered in bits of melted rubber in the process.

The Stage 2 kit also includes a replacement front end passenger side sway bar end link that is described as being adjustable. The replacement that came in my kit was not adjustable but is the required 1/4" longer than the OEM sway bar link. I bring it up because the instructions both on-line and with the kit discuss the need to adjust the link prior to installation. The manufacturer took care of it with a properly sized link right out of the box. (They just forgot to make a change to the instructions).

After installation, we did a hard launch with the car and the wheel hop is gone. The car feels a little different to drive...it feels more stable particularly in hard turns. Overall, it was $600 well spent and I would definitely recommend the kit.

Thanks for the report. 09 R/T 6 speed tracpac here. Hop is a problem. The HopNot is a prerequisite to the Blower.
