Horn ring center medallion removal?

Thinking about replacing or refurbishing the center medallion. What's a good way to remove it from the horn ring? Are those rivets, and how would I remove and replace them?

Those are rivets and they are cast as part of the horn ring. Just grind them off to remove the bracket and leave the rest as locating pins and use some adhesive to
re install

X2 Beekeeper, I like to use epoxy to reattach those kind of parts.

I just took mine apart to get the ring chromed. I pinched the rivet with pliers so I will able to spread the rivet after.
