Hot Rod Pacer and a Pair of Gremlins

I still don't like Pacers, one of the fugliest cars ever

even resto-modded

The Gremlins are relatively cool "now"
sort of fugly too, 'hip ugly'
it's just around the corner, from 'butt ugly'
sort of so ugly, or funky they're cool
They had lots of different niche' cars/options
light cars, could get a V8 too, 'sort of sporty'
sold a crapload of them too

I had a buddy with a 383 out of his 70 'cuda gran coupe
it was freaky fast, sort of cool with wider tires & all on Cragers
that Mustard yellowish color

I remember a pacer wagon, same color as jay's, but with "wood' sides, won one of the pinks all out events. Woman driver, 427 LS swapped in, pg and 9"ford. Mid 10s, if memory serves. Still had the plaid interior.

We built a Hornet to run in the desert a few years ago, 304 with 904 trans. Ford 8.8 rearend. Car did surprising well and was pretty tough.

Wasn't the "Murph Mobile" a Pacer" on Waynes World?? Then near the end, Aerosmith arrived in a stretched Pacer limo!

I used a Pacer front suspension, rack and pinion steering on a Studebaker pickup I was building years ago and it worked great.

I know where there is a Pacer with 18K miles
