installing new face decals and I dont know how to remove the clock metal piece so I can do the RPM decal and needle. Doest it come off ? thank Dave

From memory, you need to remove the entire clock from the Tach body.
Undo Tach from the nuts on the back - the clock should be held in place with the same 'tangs' as the dash fascia parts.

From my GTX about 24 years ago....
Notice how the Clock solenoid has burnt - probably happened about 25 minutes after the car was sold brand new.
