How to buy an engine from Canadian seller?

Anyone have advice on how to purchase an engine from a Canadian seller?

Since I don't have the necessary documents to travel into Canada the seller is willing to bring it across the boarder into Washington for me.

What do I need to consider before pulling the trigger? Will customs let the seller through? What fees should we be aware? Should this be "dropped off for work at a speed shop"?

That's all on his end, if he's coming in country. Make sure he has what you wanted....pay him....go home and play.

If he is willing to bring it across the boarder it's no problem on your end. He may have to answer a few questions on why he has an empty trailer coming home.
