how to change trunk lid hinges?

I have a 74 charge and prev owner cut hinges in half to put a fiberglass lid on. I need to change these to put the original lid back on. Anyway- how is this done?

On my 69 belvedere, they're spot welded to the package tray, I can't imagine it being much different on your car. Hey, post a few pix, I'd like to see what they did.
