How to find my 68 Charger without the VIN ?

I am trying to find my 1968 Charger I bought new in Spring of 1968 at Bridgeport Dodge in Ct.( Out Of Buss)
It was a 383, 4bbl, auto, Maroon with a black interior and vinyl top, Power windows and a 8 track player
Does anybody know of any means of searching without the VIN.

Do you have any pictures of it and do you recall the plates that were on it? Mabye try the state DMV with that info.

Posting pictures and description on as many car Mopar or general car forums as possible my help if the current owner sees it or someone that knows the car does.

What is your goal? Just curiosity or do you want to buy it back?

I presume you had it insured. Is the insurance agency still in business? Can you go to them and search old policies to get the VIN number?

Spent some time digging in files and found my old paperwork.
Original invoice ,Ins etc found
Now the Hunt begins.
The last owner I know of was in 1970 in Stratford Ct.
I tried to upload a copy of the Invoice but its too big.
