Been 35+ years since I've done one and can't remember where all the fasteners are. IIRC, removing the cluster and glove box made things easier to get to.....help lol. A buddy of mine is removing his and he thought he had everything out but is saying it won't budge. Car is question is a 70 Grand Coupe Cuda.

I removed the dash to get the dash pad off in my 71 Cuda.
The photos show the upper and lower bolt holes where the dash attaches to the car. Upper bolts are accessed through the vents and can be tricky if the glass is still in. Try 1/4" drive with long extensions, universal joints, and a short socket.
The dash pad is removed from the dash frame by removing the speed nuts as shown.

I asked this question on Moparts years ago and got a step by step process. I am having problems logging on there.
