Hello. In need of a Hurst 4 speed shifter #6356 . I have one in my car but is very sloppy loose. Thanks.
I think I have two hurst comp plus shifters. Next time I get out to the garage I will check.
Thank. Hate to say this but I have the push in style handle. I guess I should have mentioned this. Thanks tho.I do have one. I have collected just about everything for the conversation but may never do it. This has been rebuilt if I remember correctly. Don't know what they are going for but I will look it up and let you know.

With those long shifter levers. I would say that your shifter looks to be the rare 1970 B-body 7174 shifter.I do have one. Wasnt 70 still the push in style shifter handle? This is for a bolt on handle. With those long shifter levers. I would say that your shifter looks to be the rare 1970 B-body 7174 shifter.
If it is, then 7174 would be stamped on the reverse arm.
Yes, they were, but some very late built 1970 B-bodies were known to have come with the bolt on handle.Wasnt 70 still the push in style shifter handle? This is for a bolt on handle.
Cool.Good to know. Learned something new. Thanks.Yes, they were, but some very late built 1970 B-bodies were known to have come with the bolt on handle.
