Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in the Hurst shifter bodies? I have a 6356 Hurst body that I've had for over 28 years. Will this work in a 69 roadrunner? It's allowing the shifter to hit the dash. I have the correct mount, but I'm using a 68-69 Charger console shifter stick. So now I'm trying to figure out if it's the stick or the shift body that is the problem. Just want to figure this out before I modify anything. Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

You have the correct shifter? It look like maybe a typeo on the 6353 should be 6356? Now I have to do some research.

According to Brewers 6353 is the correct #. I don't know what a 6356 is?
I have a 6356 also, guess I will have to figure out what it fits.

Isn't 6353 the reverse lever part number?
