Almost Tournament time...As a loyal fan of the Michigan State University Spartans,it's reassuring that my favorite team is a regular participant in the March Madness. Others can't always make that claim. Like that school in A-Squared(snicker,snicker...).

All right;who's your team,and will they make an impact in the Tournament? The REAL one,not the NIT. Though truth be known;the NIT used to be the more prestigious event-back in the Jurassic era...

OK...Dancin' Days are here! Got all ten of my ESPN(Yes;they allow ten brackets. One can get creative) brackets filled out and hoping this year I'll win something. Most of mine have Louisville winning it(damn;they're scary good),but I've also got one with the Spartans and a couple with Indiana cutting down the nets. The strong picks,IMO? Louisville,Indiana,Duke,Kansas. The "could be's"? MSU,Ohio State(hate 'em,but they're good),Georgetown,Kansas State,Wisconsin(don't laugh-they beat Indiana twice this season) and Miami. I'll throw Memphis in there;they're not disciplined,but man,can they shoot-and-score. Keep an eye on Butler and St. Louis-might surprise.
Upsets? Watch for Belmont,St. Mary's(who could upset Memphis in the first round),Minnesota(hard to figure this year),Valparaiso(who could upset my Spartans if they're not paying attention),South Dakota State(five shooters who could send Michigan packing),Ole Miss and Bucknell.
If I had serious money-and I know folks who do-I'd have to go with Louisville. As long as they don't believe their hype,Pitino will be brandishing the scissors on about 3 weeks. We'll see. The fun starts at noon today.

I'm not a big fan of hoops either, :iamwithstupid: I absolutely hate/despise the NBA, I can't stand all the over the celebrations, chest pounding, hanging off the damn rim crap, by a bunch of 6'8"+ tall players, with an over active pituitary gland, for doing what they are paid millions of $$$ to do, the NCAA is starting to go down that route too, I don't care for that type crap, at all... I do kind of keep track a little of what going on, to be well informed so to speak, but I do watch the NCAA tourney, when it gets down to the Elite 8, sometimes @ the Sweet 16 level, only if Oregon or some other Pac-12 teams are still in it usually, or nothen' else is on TV...LOL... Al-K hey there's nothen' wrong with posting a thread about something you like/love, routing your team on, I know I do, don't let us detour you...LOL... carry on B-Ball buddy

Cornpatch;you are correct! Damn;must have been the 1970's coming back to haunt me. Like...DUH! I had that stupid song in my head when I started this thread,and his voice and that of the Gibb singer are so similar. Oh well.

I didn't watch but my Oregon Ducks won last night, or second round, over Oklahoma St. "I think it was"...
