The left car in the Picture is actually a 1986 Corvette C4 Convertible:
They put the body from an Opel Kadett E on top of it and Callaway did some performance upgrades to the engine so it makes 306hp.
The Opel Kadett E was basically in the same class as a VW Rabbit and a popular car in germany back in the days. (Where this car has been built)

The same guy "Artz" also built similar cars like a VW Rabbit MK1 on top of a Porsche 928. (I knew about that one but i think the Cordett is even cooler...)
Unfortunately only 1 Cordett and only 2 Rabbit 928 have been built.
