I never saw the show Burn Notice but this could be true.

That's the #2 Hero car and the first Charger bought for the series. Sold on ebay through Ted Vernon when the show ended. One of three surviving.

I liked that show...
About a CIA agent/spy that was doxed & outed
called a 'burn notice'
he was trying to stay alive while being hunted, by many
whored himself out to do spy/security stuff cheap

Theonna was a great character too
Bruce Cambell was his beer drinking best bud & sidekick

the Charger was OK, I think the premise was it was a family car org.
it got blow'd up IIRC too
I'm sure it was a stand-in

seems like I remember seeing the engine in a shot
it was probably a 318cid/904tf car IIRC

As shown on the show it was a small block. This car was the only one that I know that was used for engine shots. The stunt car was originally a 318 with a swapped 440 and I have never been able to find out what's in Hero car #1.

They did blow a Charger up in Season 4 that was beyond repair. The owner in the auction claims seven cars total but there has been no proof of that. As the show went on they deleted trim and things like that so I suppose it could seem like they had more cars than they did.

I liked the show, but always thought the big scoop looked out of place on the car. Especially when they were watching or spying on people and trying not to be noticed....

Yeah, I really liked that show. I still go back and watch reruns every now and then.
