I saw an original Superbird rear window on Philly Craigslist. The price is $1500 if anyone needs one. The number is 570 604 4553. The location says Scranton Pa. This is not mine.

Are they worth that much?

It's not a part that comes up for sale very often. As far as I know,AMD has sold out on the repro ones, with no plans for another run anytime soon,if ever again. An original one always trumps a repro. I don't need one,but if I did,I would be on my way to Scranton.

ok but what did they use originally , long time ago was told it was vega or monza rear window and frame just curious which one .

There is a guy named Ed from up in Scranton that has a wrecked Super Bird he grabbed decades ago out of a junk yard.. He has been gathering parts for decades could be him..

Some guys use Vega hatches and rear glass in place of the rear window plug and glass on Daytona Charger clones. It is not correct in shape or appearance. From the factory Charger Daytona's and 500s were the only cars to use that glass. Superbirds used the window in this ad. They do not interchange with any other vehicle.
