I was in our little Northern Canadian car and bike show today. First time ever.

Location
Way North Canada. Polar Bear shaped license plates
We had our little show and shine today. Anything that moves is welcome and there’s no purist or fender tag douchebags up here. My wannabee is still a ways off but I put one on my bikes in. Much to my surprise it was the only dirt bike, the oldest bike, and by far the smallest. It’s one of two identical 1972 Yamaha 175 Enduros that I have. Both have less then 3000 miles on them.
I felt a little strange parking in with the show Harley’s.

Had more fun with the 'little' bikes than the big bike (if you want to call a 750 big) I had....lots more fun!

Nice bike! U showed up those Harley’s. Kim

My first road vehicle was a '73 Yamaha 175, same as yours, only in a gloss metallic gold. Those are Great bikes, all around, and Congrats on the Award !!!

I wanted to get a 1983 CB1100F when they came out, but a woman banging a U-turn directly in front of me put an end to my bike riding days.

I had the 750 version from the next year,
1984 Knighthawk

I got it NEW on my 25th BD in July 1984,
it was totaled about 3 months later
going to the Fremont Wed. night drags to meet friends to spectate
a buddy with a ZR1000 Kawi, I'd wax regularly until well over 100 mph
my 2 friends on their bikes, that had just left my house a few min.'s earlier,
it was a few blocks from my place, I just got up to speed merging in,
on a 45mph zone I was going 50-55-ish
(In San Jose Tammoshantner Dr. (spell ?), I lived off that major throughfare)
when a 72 Ford Country Squire Woody Wagon
did a left turn & then stopped right in front of me

driven by an unlicensed 'biker scumbag', with no insurance
I tried to lay it down & stepping off
It launched me over the back of the car & across 3 lanes
flipped & landed on my feet, fell backwards
lil' bruising, & cracked helmet, ripped clothes off my left side
from the luggage rack, while going over it

I almost bought the CB 1100, the year earlier
I didn't have the cash, then

my last brand new 'road bike' was a 1985 Vmax Yamaha,
I owned for a decade or more, loved that bike, great power & handled well
no wrecks

I'd stop to look at your enduro at the show,
probably before I'd prevue the Harleys
 vintage dirt, MX or enduros are cool now
