If you like Vice Grip Garage you'll like NNKH

We love VGG at our place! Bookmarked that video you shared and plan on checking it out when mama and I get 45 minutes in front of the tube together. Thanks!

It’s people like Vice Grip that our saving the car hobby. All the high dollar restorations and expensive builds are nice, but they’re not realistic for young people.

And to top it off, he’s a devoted family man and a patriot.

We went down to Bristol beginning of September and got to meet Derek and his wife Jessica. We need more people like them. Like @Cheapsunglasses said, devoted family, patriot and all around salt-of-the-earth kind of folks. And they promote "reasonable", "budget" and "affordability" in their project cars and revivals. Mama and I got pics with them but I was wearing my Chevy hat. I don't wanna get shot at here on FBBO.

I've been watching VG since Derek was filming in his first shop and home garage, glad to see that he has his own show with Motor Trend now.

Although this thread is not about VGG, I think once a YT channel goes on TV the show runners ruin the show inserting drama and other unnecessary BS. This will inevitably happen to Dereck and his VGG show.

Now, has anyone watch No Nonsense Know How (NNKN)?

I like the fact that it's not just a fix it show. They're on vacation in the 73 El Camino. Lots of great scenery, camping, bars, restaurants, lakes, rivers, etc. They stop every once in a while to make necessary repairs along the road. I've learned a few tricks from Chris.
