Now you can't even access the news without giving up you private information like email addresses to the giant marketers that pay for your information. They don't pay you. They pay the sites you visit so they can bombard your email with ads. I hope FBBO doesn't sell our info. Now you have to sign up and pay a membership fee to get the news.

Local News is free on over the air using antennas. If you desire any of the cable type news outlets yeah your going to pay. I worked for a newspaper for several years in the early 2000's and they were losing $$$ due to the Internet. Pretty much any regional or national "newspapers" wants you to subscribe these days to their online content or bombard you with ads to the point you just X out of that ****.

If you want to avoid most ads, not all but many, I suggest adding Ad Blocker to your extensions, and most ads will be blocked. In fact...Joey doesn't like it, but I use it, and there isn't much that can be done to stop it. Best add-on I have found for this...cr8crshr/Bill

If I have to subscribe or give up my email address, I leave. There are plenty of free sites out there. I use ad blockers and a VPN and a private IP address, so no ads and privacy. I didn’t buy a gold membership on this site to block ads, my ad blocker will do that, I bought the gold membership to support the site.

Any news site that wants me to subscribe gets tossed. Therefore I have Newsmax, OANN, Infowars, Fox, Cal Coast News[ local, very much hated by the lefty locals] and KSBY [local lefty just to get some other news]. And for times when my preferred outlets want me to sign up for updates, it don't happen.
