Hello all, I've had my eye on this car for a while and am thinking about making an offer on it. I've always wanted a max wedge car. I've been in contact with the seller and am making arrangements to check it out in person possibly next week. It is a "tribute" not a real max wedge but has a "real" 426. I do not know that much about early Mopars and was hoping you all could advise me on what to look for, etc. Does anyone know this car? The price is a bit out of whack.

Used 1963 Plymouth Belvedere 2-Door Hardtop For Sale ($46,900) | Motorcar Classics Stock #2649

I received some images of the undercarriage from the seller:

Looks like some rust developing on the lower quarters -both sides.

Did they put enough Armour All on the vinyl portions of the seats....jeez! The car looks good in the pics, but as you know, looking at it in person is best. One thing I don't like on this car, is the old style brake master cylinder. A dual master cylinder with disc brakes on the front would be my choice.

Beautiful car, but I'm going to nitpick.

Resale red red red, and even red gas tank straps.

Dash pad above cluster is cracked.
Floor mats don't match the carpet.
Brake pedal pad is used up.

Undercoat under car looks weird, maybe hiding something, or just was all original and no issues, then sprayed again and/or painted black.

No pics of hardboard ceiling, is it drooping or stained, or new?

Undercoat in trunk, on quarters, looks original.
Armrests look really good, the tend to crack and fall apart.

The oil pan and cut out k-frame, is that how original max wedge cars were done?
I put a bb in a 62 and got the pan that fits.

From the bottom, front roll pan looks wavy and/or flat red on the bottom.

Firewall looks flat red, and what's up with the 3 plastic plugs near the master cylinder?

Is suspension rebuilt or just painted?
Idler arm is hard to find new/nos.

And the gas tank looks like it's leaking.

Please, nitpick! I want as much input as possible, good, bad and ugly!

Exhaust is tweaked in multiple places going over the axle.

It looks a bit cobbled together after the max wedge section.
