In this Kung Flu crisis, you just can't keep a good car show down

Too funny. Just got a private message for a CAC next week. Invite only, won't know location until Saturday. Taking the Hemi.
 
That sort of thing has been happening sporadically all over, I've noticed.
As shows are being cancelled, especially late in the game after folks have already made plans to attend, sometimes they just go anyways.

That happened down in Pigeon Forge recently when they cancelled one of those huge, all-town encompassing events that fills the hotels and lines the streets - when they cancelled the show, which people plan their vacations around, they came anyways.
Cops shrugged their shoulders and said "hey, whaddaya gonna do?"

It's a positive way people are saying they've had enough of all this "lockdown" crap and sort of opposes all the role-playing, attention whore mama's basement types out there destroying stuff and burning things, as far as I'm concerned.

That is a horrible picture to represent the headline.
I counted about 20 bodies in that picture. Where are the other 980 people?

That being said, I was discussing with the wife how we enjoyed cruising back in the day.
No DJ, no plastic trophy, no 50/50 drawing.
Everyone meets on 14th Street downtown. stop by, shoot the breeze, take a lap around Northampton Street, stop by McDonald's on 3rd St, Dunkin Donuts on 13th st, McDonalds on 25th st.

My hope is that post pandemic, this style of car cruising returns to small towns
 
They have already cancelled the Shades of the Past show in Pigeon Forge (Sept 11-12) so I am sure the organized Rod Run (Sept 17-19) will be cancelled as well. The crowd that came in June is already organizing Rona Run 2.0 :thumbsup:

We have cruises every weekend somewhere by me. By word of mouth. Went last weekend.

Wow and a car show of 1000 is insane there was a few dozen there that's not what a big show looks like some people just need a swift kick to there ***!
 
It was sooo big the had to use a picture from 2016 to push their Narrative....Thousands of people... I think not..
