Iam at the point in my restoration that I need to install the two door splash guards on my 1969 Road Runner. I think that I need to install these before I can put on the fenders? does anyone have a picture of how these splash guards look installed. If they are installed before the fenders are on does anyone have picture of these installed. Also, the gaskets-when do these get installed. I think it takes a special screw and washer (Large) to install these as well? thanks so much for your considerations. I would not have been able to get this far in my restoration without you folks help. thanks, Wild Bill

Bill, are you talking about the large metal ones that sit behind the front tires? I'm having a hard time understanding what part you are talking about.

yes the large metal ones that sit behind the front tires, and infront of the doors. cant figure out how they fit in thar. I was hoping someone had a picture of what they look like installed. As well as, the rubber seals that fit near the top? Thanks for responding to my request for help :headbang:

Bill, install the fender first. The metal fender splash shields go in last. Install the rubber weather-stripping to the splash shields before install though. You may have to finagle them in there but they will go in even with the tire still attached.

No problem Bill. If you run into any more issues let us know.
