I had new KYB shocks put on the Belvedere yesterday. That seems to be the one thing the former owner neglected. It had old Gabriel shocks and they were really wasted. Now not only does it handle like a new car it also gets a lot more rubber hitting 2nd gear than it did before due to the stiffer rear.:icon_thumright:

Nothing like a new set of shocks!! That was usually the first thing I did whenever I got a new to me car. Also, the factory shocks back in the day were really junk......no better than a 2 dollar shock.

I've got brand new Bilsteins waiting to go on as soon as I get the car home! You're not the only one lately to rave about the difference in ride just from swapping to a good gas shock so I'm looking forward to the difference for sure

It's funny how most people don't really notice worn out shocks especially if they've had the car for a long time. They wear out so slowly that you don't even notice, then you put on a new set of good gas shocks and WOW! what a difference.

My new shocks go in on Saturday. They have dials on them!
