Where do I start So I narrowed it down to A bad fuel gauge as I have a working voltage limiter getting voltage pulse to fuel gauge and volt meter nothing coming out of fuel gauge and no power or pulse at sending unit (through sending unit wire) so I am trying to remove the cluster either to replace it or just the gauge itself as I have another complete cluster . So this is where I am now..

1. removed all dash trim.
2. dropped steering column to rest on seat.

got as far as trying to remove switch panel so I removed all screws and I can get the right side of panel to pullout but not the left side (headlight sw side) disconnected headlight sw and dimmer sw to no avail thinking that the dimmer sw might be holding me up but not sure how to remove it if it is (????) any help would be appreciated...

When switch panel is removed I think the lower dash pnl.has to be lowered and is held by nuts and screws behind said panel is this correct ???

Is there any thing I am forgetting ??

Please Help !! LOL !!

Think I'll have a cold beer and ponder this for awhile before trying again !!!

I just put mine back together should be two screws up top and maybe two or three behind the dash pad . that switch panel is a p i a if you havent already loosen the lower dash pad screws this wil help to get the lower inst panel screws out,

Loosen the steering column to drop it down a bit. It is also possible to remove the 2 Phillips screws from behind holding the headlight switch to the panel. I have found this is the easiest for me.

Thanx Guys !! I finally Removed and installed cluster I ended up swapping gauges due to several loose pins on circuit board on extra cluster however think the Beers helped !!! The switch pnl was a P I A !!!! Thanx again !!! This forum is Awesome !!
