I got a can of flat white paint and sprayed both sides. I'm replacing the T3 bulbs with blue ones. The idea came from the back side of the plate being white from the factory.

That's going to look sweet with the blue LED's

What size sockets does your cluster use? I ordered some replacements on ebay and they look a little small. Also... if I could ask a favor -- how many sockets are there in all, and what are the locations?

Thanks,

Jeff in Baltimore

Mine has 8 sockets Two for signal lights One for temp, one for fuel guage. They are diagonal from each other Temp light is slightly above the fuel guage light. One for ALT. It looks like two for speedo. The hole on the right bottom is for signal light bulb. That is how mine is setup. Hope this helps T3 1/4 inch wedge

bulbs functions are kinda incorrect

the two of the bottoms are Brake and Oil
the one in the middle is high beam indicator.
Very first on the left ( above alt studs ) and the second from right are turning signal lights

Rest 3 are cluster ilumination.

4th for ilumination is on clock/blank insert and its wired

Nice job, look forward to an installed with the blue lights pic. :)

Thanks for the correction. My son was reading them off to me while I was typing. Sorry

Aha! That fourth wired instrument light must be the light I have dangling down behind the dash. Now I know where that goes.

Everything jibes with what i know about my car. I still need to get a replacement socket for my RH signal bulb.

Thanks for the info,

Jeff

if orange wire, that's it and fits here: ( clock option rear view... delete insert on same location )
