Hi guys, Its been a while since I posted and I apologize that I've not been on lately. I do have one concern about my car interior set up that doesn't look right to me. I've seen tons of photos of interiors of other GTX's and I've not seen one with the steering wheel that I have. The one on my car is from a 67 GTX. I was wondering perhaps this was installed original from the factory. The build date on it is Aug 22. I'm unsure if that's 67 or 68 but with a 67 GTX steering wheel i'm leaning towards the 67 year. Any ideas? I checked the bolts on the steering and the bolt holding the wheel on and I see no evidence that the wheel was ever changed. What are your thoughts? 68 gtx dash.jpg

I'm going to guess it was built in 67, and plymouth had a few left over 67 model year parts to get rid of. I've noticed a few things on my late date 68 roadrunner that don't keep to a yearly standard. My door panels were original to the car, but were for a 69 car. They were also coronet and have a big fat fratzog emblem on them.

It's obviously not a 68 Model year wheel. I have a 68 and that one doesn't look anything like it. I think you're probably on the right trail with thinking you have a 67 wheel. Wish I could give you more than that.

Thanks guys for your info. I'm planning keeping it the same way as long as it's the way it came. I've not broke it down yet but once my building is complete it tear down time. I wasn't sure if Mopar would do things like that. I really appreciate the info. Is this common in 68's? The interior I got with the car also looks 67. It's a crazy combo.
