My Charger came home with a lot of parts in boxes, and some just missing. I'm in the process of putting the interior back together, and wondering about the back seat area. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the correct order of reassembly would be:

Sail panels... package tray... side panels... inner opera windows... upper side panels

I think the headliner can go in before OR after the sail panels.

Any experience on these?

I'm not 100% on this but you will probably figure it out as you go, some vehicles are a little difficult to get the package tray installed if the sail panels are installed 1st. I "believe" the package tray is underneath the sail panels where they meet.

That order 1-5 is ok, but do the headliner first.

The way I do it is; headliner is first, then package tray, then sail panels and opera windows, then inner quarter panels.

I just finished my 71 like 3 days ago.

Some tips;

Put screws into the holes for the rear view mirror, sun visors, upper seat belt retainers and dome light. It will make reassembly WAY easier to find all of those holes once the headliner is in.

Also put bolts into the holes for the upper seat belts, same issue here in that it will make finding the holes way easier.

I glossed over the part about the headliner, I would definitely do that 1st. As mentioned above, that sounds like the most efficient order of operations based on previous experience with other makes and models.
