The journals are sized for a RB block. It may have been matted to ‘65 block because the number on the id block is A426 and the casting #2532230, date 9-14-64. The extra fingers at the end of the weights are a mystery to me. Do you think it a max wedge block too? Thanks
No color that I saw. The info that I read indicated that the hemi replaced the max wedge before this build date. So was this a street wedge instead? What year crankshaft was yours?

If the A is correct it is a street wedge. The casting date would also be for a 65 model year. Just to be sure check for bore notches. No notches- street wedge.
I am asking these questions to be as sure as possible that this crankshaft is goes with this block. It’s for a friend who may be interested in selling it. Does anyone know the year when or if the fingers were eliminated? He has another forged crank with no fingers that I’m interested in.
I have a 65 426 street wedge bevlvedere 1 and it is stamped just like that. Stamped 413 with 26 stamped right over the 13. Never seen it on any others before. Thanks for posting.
No that is not a max wedge crankshaft...the part number was punched in not cast.
2402330 & 2406240
It's not a max wedge block.....It is strange !
It is a street wedge going by casting date & number but why the 413 HP stamp is there is a curly one.All the 413 HP blocks I've seen only have 41 HP .
413's were cast up to 1965.
So it could have been a 426 block that was mistakenly stamped 413 HP ,then stamped correctly over the top when the builder realised it wasn't a 413 he was building !
