Dang Fella, you got an eye for detail! They didn't use the green logo for long. Of course I have one prominently displayed on my Mopar tribute jacket. I think I had it for almost 40 years. Of course now I will have to check for that movie on Netflix as I never saw it! LOL
 
I suspect that the sign was positioned there as part of the promotion and advertising deal with making the movie at the time. Apart from being a distant cousin to MoPar, the Rootes Group is hardly what you would call a big deal to Chrysler USA.
 
I am sure you are right Kiwi. I read somewhere long ago every prop used is well paid for, by the advertisers. Big bucks are involved behind the scenes. I wish someone would sponsor me to promote a product, I come cheap, LOL.
