Hello, all. I just picked up a 73 Roadrunner GTX that has been on stands in a garage for 25 years. I hope to learn more about this car from all the knowledge I see on this site. Thanks in advance.
Please dont let this turn into a "it cant be both a road runner and a GTX" battle. As a owner of a 72 u code, I cant stand explaining this to people! I just go with 72 rr GTX. I have a laminated magazine article about the 72 rr GTX in my car detailing everything and just hand it to them when they start with their "this is badged wrong" crap.
I "had" a 73 Roadrunner 340 that I gave to my son. We'd love to see some pictures of yours, especially GTX emblems to help explain to folks about these last GTX cars. I had a chance to buy a 73 GTX years ago, but didn't because I was convinced it was "wrong" with the GTX emblems. It was only later that I learned that not only are they real, but fairly rare as well.
Since we all like our car **** here... :worthless_thread:
