Just put on your life jacket!

I didn’t make it all the way through, did he mention the morons that drown because “Hey, you can’t make me wear a life jacket”?
Most drown due to Budwieser and piss poor judgement...especially when boats are involved...

I think you missed the point. It’s not about drowning or not drowning, it’s not about wearing a life jacket or not. It’s about having the right to decide for yourself what’s best for you. And it’s pretty darn funny too!

I didn’t miss the point.
And if you’re gonna drown at least have the decency to drown alone, don’t drag down or mock those who are trying to save you. Just drown. We don’t care.

How is allowing you the freedom to decide for yourself “dragging you down”?
And why are you trying to save me if you don’t care?

It’s not always about me. That’s the thing. Some life guards are smart and legally obligated to save those that are drowning. Yet people drowning always insist on clinging on to them, occasionally killing both. If they would just drown and shut up it would be great. After all, it was their choice not to wear a life jacket.

I’m all about freedom of choice for everyone. I’m just really shocked by the people who are willing to give up their freedom. I’m not trying to force you or anyone else to do anything you don’t want to. I just demand to be treated the same.

I used to be a very strong swimmer but my wife does not really care for water so I dont swim much anymore. I decided better safe then sorry.

For your analogy to be correct, the lifeguard would also be wearing a life-jacket. If one person choses to wear a life-jacket and trusts that life-jacket to work, then why should they be concerned about someone not wearing a life-jacket. If they would just wear their life-jacket and shut up it would be great. After all, it was their choice to wear a life-jacket.

If it is taken as intended it is wrong. My wearing a life jacket is for both of us. Dont be someone who thinks their rights can tread on my ability to stay alive. Wear a life jacket!

Here you must have a life jacket/ life preserver for each person in the boat but children under the age of 13 must wear one. Adults not required. The DNR will ticket you if the state law is broken.

Fauci says, "If you wear a life jacket always when you are on dry land, you will never drown."
