k member bushing replacement.

I replaced mine with solid aluminum ones from member cudazappa here and that's how I replaced mine.

I put the car up on jackstands then a jack under the K to apply presure so that the bolts were easier to loosen but not completely remove. Lower the jack an appropiate amount, I then removed one at a time to remove and replace the bushing and bolt until all four were done. (I did break one bolt, shearing the head right off!)

Other than the one bolt that broke off and finally getting it out with a lot of cursing, I did have a bit of an issue with getting one of the new bushings back in. It did eventually get in with some prying of the Kframe. Remember that your upper control arms are in the way and wont allow the Kframe to come down as far as you may like or want it to for the bushing replacements.

Hope this helps

PS if the bolt head ever shears off on you.... and when you finish cursing... find a wheel nut, pound the mofo onto whats left of the bolt, weld it on well... heat the $hit out of the frame mounting area, ice the bolt, then start cranking! lolololol

I bought mine at Year One..
