I have installed a new Holley 670 carb on my 340. The PO had a hodge podge of 5/8 bolts for the kickdown stud and throttle cable, I never really had a chance to run the car before the winter to see if it worked as it should.
I am going to get the holley adapter 20-7 which relocates the kickdown.
I need to know the length of the lever from the carb to the pivot point at the firewall as the last owner welded a peice onto the one I have now.
Thanks

i will try to measure mine tonight or tommorow morning and i will post it for ya. mine is a three piece if yours is a one piece it will be different

Thanks very much, Mine is also a three peice. I just need to know the length of the rod that goes from the carb to the pivot point. The PO cut the rod and welded a longer peice to it.. there are many different lenths of kickdowns I just want to make sure I get the right one.
Thanks again Charger360.

Wouldn't hurt to try it. The rod I have now is 15 inches and will not work at all.
I talked to a guy on Ebay who is selling the whole set up and he said the upper rod is 11 1/4 total length. But I can't confirm that is the right one.
The PO cut the rod at the threads so it is not even adjustable.

Thanks Mark, that is od. I see them listed on ebay and other sites like Herbs that show it being a 3 peice for that year, but I have also see the one peice as you said.

Ya I see them alot too. After owning several 71B/E with autos all had the one piece. My 70/71 parts book seems to show the 3-piece w/ bell crank on the 440 6-pack only in 71. I could be wrong, just what I've seen over the years. This one is from a 71 GTX.
