Great video of the C-5 landing at Lajes Azores in support of the airbridge for Iran. A lot of the new KC-46A tankers are also there. The crosswind component was really a factor in the go around and the the 2nd attempt at landing. The way the plane was crabbing shows it until the smooth touchdown and roll out. Great Airmanship. I do so miss crewing on the C-5 as a Loadmaster and can remember the many times I transited there...Enjoy...cr8crshr/Bill :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:

After landing, the Scanner Engineer will open the hatch and act as an extra set of eyes while taxiing for safety reasons. Cannot have too many eyes for that big ol' Fred...DAMHIK...cr8crshr/Bill :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:
